The normal natural gas pipeline supply has been restored to South Taylor and Kiskatinaw. This is following the upstream operational issue starting on October 28 that impacted PNG’s natural gas distribution system in these areas.
Throughout our response, PNG’s priorities were to ensure both public safety and the continuity of gas supply to the South Taylor and Kiskatinaw areas. There were no service interruptions for our customers.
Upon receiving notification of the impact, PNG immediately implemented our well-practiced contingency plan, and put measures in place to isolate the system, maintain supply and arrange for additional gas supply. We served the areas with Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) during this period.
Our overall response was aided by the support we received from the District of Taylor, the community and our contractors.
